Pillar 3 / Asset Intelligence / Recovery + Subrogation
Trace assets, untangle beneficial ownership, and produce court-portable evidence in one engagement.
Insurance subrogation, asset recovery, and post-judgment collection share a common problem: by the time you go after the money, it's moved. Asset Intelligence runs deterministic cluster analysis across on-chain addresses, beneficial-ownership records, and behavioral patterns to surface the chain of custody. Every step is signed and anchored; every output is a CREB(TM) bundle admissible under FRE 902(14).
The chain of custody is the deliverable - and the chain of custody is what your investigators can never produce on demand.
Every subrogation lead, post-judgment hunt, or recovery action runs into the same wall: the investigator finds the assets, but the chain from "subject" to "address" to "current holder" relies on screenshots, intermediate analyst notes, and the investigator's experience. That works for an internal close-the-file memo. It does not survive a third-party auditor, a regulator request, a defendant's motion in limine, or a fraud bureau referral. Asset Intelligence produces the same content but with cryptographic provenance: each input hashed, each reasoning step signed, each conclusion anchored to a 14-of-20 BFT validator quorum across 13 jurisdictions.
- Insurance subrogation. Insurer pays a claim, then pursues the tortfeasor. The tortfeasor's assets are in 4 wallets across 3 chains. JIL produces the cluster + beneficial-ownership map + court-portable bundle.
- Post-judgment collection. Judgment debtor moves assets within hours of the judgment. JIL traces the movement, flags the receiving cluster, and produces evidence supporting fraudulent-transfer or alter-ego claims.
- Family-law / divorce. Pre-divorce asset transfers structured to defeat equitable distribution. JIL clusters the transfers + identifies straw-party recipients with reproducible methodology.
- Receivership / fraudulent-conveyance actions. Receiver needs a court-portable map of post-petition transfers. JIL produces it with FRE 902(14)-grade admissibility, eliminating the records-custodian deposition.
Two engagement tiers; same evidence quality.
| Tier | Output | Turnaround | Fixed-fee range |
|---|---|---|---|
| T1 - Scoping screen | Address-cluster map; beneficial-ownership preview; viability score (0-100) for the recovery path. Helps insurer / counsel decide whether to commit T2 spend. | 5-10 business days | $8K-$15K |
| T2 - Full recovery bundle | Cluster expansion + cross-chain tracing + beneficial-ownership pierce + behavioral-pattern attestation + CREB(TM) package with declaration-ready exhibits and expert reference. Drops into a complaint or fraudulent-transfer motion as Exhibit A. | 28-45 days | $25K-$45K |
Reproducible, signed, jurisdictionally-anchored at every step.
Input hashing at ingest
Every input record (blockchain snapshot, beneficial-ownership filing, KYC attestation) is SHA-256-hashed at the moment of ingest. The hash is anchored on the validator quorum. Opposing counsel can audit "you used input X" without you having to produce custody chains for every record.
Deterministic check execution
Cluster expansion + beneficial-ownership pierce + behavioral-pattern checks all run as deterministic SQL aggregates against the ingested data. Same inputs + same engine version = same output. The CREB(TM) records the engine version commit hash for replay.
Signed reasoning chain
Every reasoning step (cluster A connects to cluster B because of evidence E) is hashed + signed. The full chain is replay-able; an opposing expert can audit the methodology without trade-secret exposure (the inputs are hashes, not the original data).
FRE 902(14) self-authentication
CREB(TM) bundle satisfies FRE 902(14) (digital identification). No records-custodian deposition. State courts that mirror federal rules accept the same standard. The audit defensibility doesn't cost extra.
Three audiences. Three framings.
| Role | What they care about | Lead with |
|---|---|---|
| Insurance SIU Director | Reproducible methodology that doesn't depend on a single investigator. Cost-per-recovered-dollar ROI. | "Fixed-fee per case + deterministic methodology that scales without head-count. Per-case ROI dashboard available in 90 days." |
| Recovery / Subrogation Counsel | Evidence quality that survives motions practice and pierces beneficial-ownership defenses. | "CREB(TM) bundle satisfies FRE 902(14). Cluster + pierce + behavioral pattern, all in one filed exhibit. Fixed-fee per case." |
| Court-Appointed Receiver | Speed + admissibility. Receivers need to act fast and need their work to hold up to scrutiny. | "5-10 day T1 + 28-45 day T2. Output is court-portable on day one. No records-custodian deposition delay." |
Ready to scope a recovery case?
We do a 30-min scoping call against your case (sanitized, subject to your engagement letter). You walk away with a T1 fee quote + go/no-go on the recovery path. Most insurers + recovery counsel use the T1 output to decide whether to commit T2 spend.
