This is an illustration. It is not a customer, and it is not a result.

This page is an illustration built from a public Medicare cost report. St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia, part of Emory Healthcare, is not a JIL customer. JIL has not read its claims. Nothing on this page was recovered by JIL.

What the public report shows for FY2024

These figures are from the public Medicare cost report. They are not a JIL finding.

A finance team that already lives with a loss and a long receivable looks at denials that are headed for write-off and still have a filing date. That is the situation the hospital assessment is built for. It is not a claim that this hospital has that situation in any particular dollar amount.

ILLUSTRATIVE ASSUMPTIONS, NOT DATA

Any split of those public dollars into curable, appealable, clinical, and lost buckets would be an assumption. This page does not publish one. A bucket dollar is not a recovery, and it is not a JIL result.

The assessment, when a hospital sends its own 835 and 837 extract, sorts that hospital's denials. Expected reimbursement is the dollar, not billed charges. Lost accounts are named so the chase stops there. A payer decides each appeal. No outcome is promised.

What the offer is

The assessment is free. JIL charges a share of the dollars recovered, starting at 30%, paid only on recovery, on denials over 60 days, the ones headed for write-off. The payment lands in the hospital's account. Once the hospital subscribes to Audit Ready (AREB), appeals of new denials are included at no additional charge. The subscription keeps fighting new denials as they arrive and checks each claim before it bills; it is priced per customer. The subscription does not take a recovery share.

A business associate agreement is signed before any claim moves. Do not send claim or patient data before that agreement.
